A plane was reportedly struck by a US as it was flying towards India to collect humanitarian aid. “Mahan Air aircraft was hit by the US in an airstrike at Mashhad Airport. The plane was reportedly scheduled to fly to Delhi for humanitarian aid,” said Iran sources, as quoted by ANI.This comes weeks after the first shipment sent by India was delivered and received by the Iranian Red Crescent Society earlier this month. The assistance comes as Iran continues to grapple with casualties and pressure on its healthcare system amid the ongoing US-Israel conflict.
